So why not grab one and add it to your toolbox?  It’s one of the most versatile tools in a home, and it’s important for mending and repairing tasks. But remember to use it on cool surfaces only, as heat reduces the adhesive’s effectiveness.

Hammer

Nails are driven into and extracted from surfaces using clawed hammers. They can also be used for demolishing and you will need a mallet hammer for that since it gives you better control. A simple clawed hammer should do. For added durability, choose fiberglass or metal handles over wood.

Pliers

Wrench

Each wrench has a specific purpose. For example, an Allen wrench is used to make furniture, whereas other wrenches are used to remove and tighten nuts and bolts. An adjustable tool, on the other hand, is a very handy tool since it can be sized to fit the nut or bolt being worked on. It is best to have at least one of the Allen wrench, open-end wrench, combination wrench, adjustable wrench, and socket wrench.
